Nice to see you here : )<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">I try to keep this blog professionally academic (90%), with a touch of coaching (5%), and all things in-between (5%). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">I am currently a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Antwerp (Department of Training &amp; Educational Sciences), investigating games, emotions, teaching, democracy, civic engagement, teacher training and many more interesting words!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">My academic background and work experience has been on the teaching of language(s). During my doctoral studies, I investigated language teachers&#8217; emotions while enacting game-informed pedagogies. I have published in conferences related to learning and games and am an advocate of good teaching (and learning) via games as an active, participatory, and socio-emotional pedagogy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">My research interests include the psychology of language learning and teaching, qualitative methods, Action Research, (critical) Positive Psychology, and game-based (language) teaching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Interested in any of the above? welcome &amp; let&#8217;s connect and -why not set up a new field: Applied Play &amp; Games Psychology ; )<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hiya!
